Meet Shay Alkalay

• B.A. Bezalel Art and Design Academy, Jerusalem

Most of my educational background took place in creative environments like the Royal College of Art, London and other art and design academies, where the main attitude was to develop the students own approach. That means to come with personal creative solutions based on self perspective and point of view, individual thoughts, cultural background and very much rely on self motivation as a stimulator.

I would like my students to use my knowledge and experience in order to achieve and to invent their own 'world.'

• 2002: llan Lights Competition, First Prize, Product chosen to be produced
