Meet Eelko Moorer

Born in the Netherlands in 1975, Eelko Moorer studied 3D design and shoemaking before setting up his own design studio in London. In 2003, the year he was nominated for the prestigious Rotterdam Design Prize, Moorer enrolled on the Royal College of Art, from which he received an MA Design Products in 2005.
Moorer runs a multidisciplinary design practise specializing in interior architecture and product design. He has exhibited as widely as London, Milan and Rotterdam, and has been represented by the British Council, Museum Boijmans Van Beumingen and The Fashion Institute of Technology New York. Creating spatial environments, furniture, footwear, fashion accessories and conceptual installations, his work has been commissioned by companies, galleries and individuals worldwide.
