An Internationally experienced designer for 23 years. Working with a variety of fashion products across menswear, womenswear and childrenswear. Working with major internationally renowned companies.
A designer who has covered all aspects of the market from designer level (Enrico Coveri, Goldie Italia, Diesel, etc.) through to middle market retailers (M&S, Next, etc.) to supermarket stores (Tesco, Wal Mart, etc). Also working with manufacturers, importers and trend forecasters.
I am currently a consultant designer with contacts in the commercial world both here in the UK and abroad. I have always combined commercial work with academic teaching which offers me more creative stimulation.
I teach degree-seeking and study abroad students in London and have been working this summer 2008 in Paris and Florence on the satellite courses visiting major companies like Mantero Spa and Mahlia Kent. I have lectured at many UK Universities.
Though I graduated as a 3 Dimensional designer my professional experience has taken me into textile and graphic design accumulating much CAD experience. I am a Member of DMI (Design Management Institute) and the Design Council.
My interests include portrait painting. I have submitted work to the National Portrait gallery, London and I am currently working on a portfolio of paintings and illustrations.
