Associate of Arts in Interior Design (AA)

The Interior Design Program, designed to be two years, offers the Associate of Arts in Interior Design (AA).

The program concentrates on several areas such as design and research, tools and techniques, and building systems. Students will move from the Foundation levels of the first year to the specialist classes of the second year.

The areas of study covered by the Interior Design Department are constantly evolving in response to developments in technology and industry. Consequently, the department maintains strong links with the industry through an Industry Advisory Board – a group of professionals covering all subject areas – to help the department to tailor an industry-current curriculum. There is also an active faculty and staff development programme that helps ensure that the ID faculty is always aware of current vocational and academic developments.
