Speaking and writing well in English are really important if you want to work in international business or pursue a degree at an English speaking University. AIU London has been teaching English for more than thirty years, from the most basic level to the standard you will need if you want to enter University. Whatever your level, we can help you. We have a range of different classes to suit your needs and our friendly admissions staff are happy to discuss all the options with you.
Why should I study English at AIU London?
Our University has small class sizes, which means you can have an opportunity to receive the focused attention you need to become confident in English. There are no large lecture groups at AIU London! With approximately 15 to 20 hours per week of study you will be given an opportunity to participate in cultural visits organised by the University. Learning English at AIU London means you can mix with native English speakers and learn the language in one of the largest English speaking cities.
What will I be studying?
We start with developing your skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing. We will help you improve your vocabulary, grammar and spelling and develop your confidence so that you will be able to express yourself clearly in English. As you gain confidence we will teach you how to use the skills you have been taught to write business letters, reports and articles. Our friendly teaching staff will give you all the support you need and guide you along the way, so that you never feel lost or intimidated.
At the end of the course, our goal is to have students who are able to read, write and speak English fluently. You should then be at a level where you can study for a degree at AIU London and be able to communicate and express yourself clearly.
How will I develop my English?
We understand how important it is to practice when you are learning a new language. You will not just be sitting in a classroom reading books. When you learn English at AIU London, you will also have the opportunity to learn about English culture. We arrange study trips where you can visit traditional English cities and see the sights of London. You will be encouraged to speak and develop the skills you have been taught in class. English at AIU London is a fun learning experience!
